"College can be rough, especially when your university holds thousands upon thousands of people and you’re trying to find where you fit in. Chess club? Water ski team? Greek life? Quidditch team? I know that I struggled to find where I belonged- until I found Texas Royals.
So I may be slightly biased, but I think that these girls are some of the most genuine, spirit-filled, adventure-seeking people you will meet on campus. There is no limit as to how much you can get out of this organization- service opportunities, social outings, sisterhood bonding, and spirit events are just the beginning. Joining this group has given me more than the four pillars we are founded on; I’ve seen growth in my ability to work with diversity, create and maintain relationships, and be a part of something bigger than myself.
Texas Royals is home to some of the most beautiful women I have met in the short time I have been at the University of Texas. Their beauty lies within their strength, dignity, and overall unwavering expression of individuality and authenticity. There isn’t a concrete mold to be a Texas Royal; this isn’t a cookie cutter or color within the lines kind of family. If you want to be a proud leader, a sports fanatic, an academic scholar, or creative artist you have the opportunity to do so in this organization- all with the support of truly fantastic women.
