"Texas Royals has given me more in just a few short months than I could have ever imagined. This past spring was my first few months of life within this crazy amazing organization! *Shout out to my Spring 2018 jewel fam!!* Walking into one of the last info sessions of recruitment season, I knew absolutely nobody in that room. My heart started to race a little bit from nerves, but they quickly left when I was met with the most welcoming hello and bright smile from one of the members. *Shout out to Kelly Rice, you rock!* Between that initial welcoming and the rest of the wonderful conversations I had with so many different girls that night, those girls made me feel as if we had been friends with them forever. Never had I ever felt so welcomed by a group of total strangers. I almost instantly knew that this was the organization I wanted to join because my heart and head had a feeling it held some future life-long friends for me.
On top of amazing friendships, Texas Royals has provided me with so many opportunities to serve and give back to not just our campus, but also the community. During community outreach, we really get the opportunity to strengthen our friendships through service. If you join Texas Royals, you’ll gain the support of so many HYPE WOMEN: who keep you lifting you up through all the ups and downs! Freshman year was a pretty tough time for me, but this spirit group came at just the right time to give me the push I needed to break out of my shell and make some pretty dang good memories. :’) And this is just the beginning!!! I’m in awe of how beautiful all the ladies of this organization are and how so many different individuals can make me feel as though I am a part of one big family. #BeATexasRoyal and you’ll find yourself *shooketh* over how mind-blowingly amazing, relatable, and incredibly fun personalities of every Royal."
